Welcome to Physical Education at Barnette Elementary. Believe it or not, Physical Education isn't all "fun and games." It is crucial to your child's development as a student, and being a healthy person! We've long known that exercise is good at preventing heart disease, obesity, and diabetes, but new studies have shown that exercise is great for our brains too! Kids who exercise more are likely to be more attentive, have improved cognitive function, and have better memory! Exercise is also great at preventing depression. Are you convinced yet? Physical Education is one of the most important parts of a student's day! My YouTube Channel: https://goo.gl/nQ51YI Here are some fun "active" video links.
